Introducing the Gbenka baskets!

Gbenka, named after the traditional sieve used to filter pito (a beloved millet brew) is one of the first basket forms woven in Ghana’s Upper East Region. A symbol of hospitality and community, it carries the spirit of shared celebration. Now reimagined as functional storage for holding fruits, textiles, or treasures.

Each piece showcases a unique colourway and pattern, shaped entirely by the weaver’s skill and artistic eye. Strong, sculptural and richly textured, they bring authentic Ghanaian craftsmanship into any home.
