Bakuli means "Bowl" in Swahili, the national language of Tanzania.

These sweet little bowls are woven by talented Women Artisans with WomenCraft, an NGO in Tanzania, who we work with to support fair income and continued trade.

For this bowl, locally harvested natural grasses are dried in the sun and then intricately handwoven together. They have a wonderful sheen to them adding elegance and texture to your tabletop.

Our Bakuli's are versatile and can be used to serve dry snacks and are always a beautiful display.
